Those who know me know I LOVE Barbies!!! I have a small collection. So when I saw a story about a 9 year old girl named Gianni I had to share it. This young lady is trying to collect 1,000 Barbies for
little girls in shelters. I believe she is up to 700. I just bought 4 to send to her. You can get a plain Barbie at Walmart for $5. They also have different ethnicities. Her website is 1kbarbiesfor1kgirls.com. She also has a facebook page. I'd love to see her reach her goal so if you can help please do.

This blanket was made with Red Heart Super Saver Yarn and an "H" hook.
It is 25 blocks x 25 blocks.
For videos and directions for making a Corner 2 Corner blanket please go to the previous post.
This is just the written out directions for the blanket. I will show the actual graph at the end.
How to read the pattern:
"W" is the background color.
"P" is the heart color.
The number will be how many of that color to use for each block.
EX: 1W, 2P Means work 1 white block and 2 pink blocks.
- 8W,12P,5W Start Decreasing next row
Here is the graph:
And the blanket half done:
a lot. There are also different ways to obtain this. I have tried the Corner 2 Corner version. First I made 2 Corner to Corners with solid colors to get the hang of it. Then I designed a heart pattern which I will be sharing here. It seemed an intro was necessary before the pattern. As usual youtube
is a great place to find a video to show you how to do the "C2C" blankets. Here are the ones I used
How to start your Corner to Corner: Corner 2 Corner
How to decrease: Decreasing Corner 2 Corner
Here is the link to doing a C2C graphhan: C2C Graphgans
And if you want to try a c2c graphgans here is how to use bobbins: Bobbin use in C2C
So these are the videos I used if they don't work for you I'm sure there are plenty more to try.
*the blanket in the picture is approximately 18"x18". It is a preemie blanket. I will be putting the written pattern up for it next*
