Kelly's Sweater 9-11 lb. Size

I have reworked the Kelly's Sweater to fit a smaller baby.Easy Print PDF:

9-11 lbs
Bernat Baby Softee Yarn
G-6 hook
Guage: 5 sts per inch, 3 rows per inch.
Chest: 14"
Length of sweater: 7"
Sleeves: 4"
Wrist to wrist: 15"

Chain 40

Row 1:
dc in 4th ch from hook and next 3 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 5 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 10 chs,3 dc in next ch,
dc in next 5 chs,
3 dc in next ch,
dc to end.
ch 2, turn.

Rows 2-5: dc in each dc across putting 3dc in center dc of 3dc group below. Ch 2, turn.

Row 6: dc across to center of first 3dc group, ch 4, skip across to next 3dc, dc in center st and each st across to center st of 3rd dc group, ch4, skip to last 3dc put dc in center of 3dc group and across to end. ch 2, turn.

Row 7: dc in each dc and chain across. ch 2, turn.

Rows 8-15: dc across, ch 2, turn.

Front and neck trim:

Chain 1, work sc up front edge,placing buttonholes where you like. 3 sc in corner, sc around neck, 3 sc in corner, 3 sc in bottom corner, sc across bottom edge, put 2sc in last corner, join to first sc. join. finish off.
* to make button hole, sc in st, ch 3 or however many needed to fit around button and sc in next.

Sleeves
Attach yarn at middle stitch underarm
row 1-10: ch 2, dc in each st around. Join.
row 11: ch 1, sc in each st around. Join, finish off.
